Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Soupcase account and all associated data at any time, directly from inside the app. Here’s how:
Step 1 — Open Soupcase and sign in
Launch the Soupcase app on your device and log in to your account.
Step 2 — Open your Account page
After you log in successfully, tap the user icon in the top right of the screen to go to the Account page.
Step 3 — Go to Account Settings
From the Account page, tap into your Account Settings.
Step 4 — Delete your account
On the Account Settings page, tap Delete Account. This will bring up a confirmation prompt. After you tap Yes, Delete Account, your account and all of its data will be permanently deleted and you will be returned to the login screen.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove:
- Your account information (name, email address, authentication data)
- All of your trips, packing lists, packing groups, and itinerary items
- Any shared trips you own (members will lose access)
- Your membership in any trips shared with you
- Your subscription record on our side (if you have an active First Class subscription, you should also cancel it through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings to stop future billing)
Certain information may be retained for limited purposes after deletion, such as in encrypted backup archives or where required by law (for example, transaction records for tax purposes). Retained information is isolated from active processing and deleted as backups age out.
